El artículo pretende dar respuesta a si iniciativas como el Plan REPowerEU incrementarán la autonomía relativa de la política energética europea. Sin embargo, la emergencia que subyace en el lanzamiento del REPowerEU dificulta un análisis ponderado de ello. Así, el artículo realiza un recorrido histórico del contexto en el que este plan se ha de desplegar. La conclusión a la que se llega es ambivalente. Este plan podría ser un avance significativo en la política energética de Europa, pero también podría ser que reforzara su subordinación en el marco del orden energético mundial.

The REPowerEU Plan through the prism of European energy policy fundamentalsThe article aims to answer the question of whether initiatives such as the REPowerEU Plan will increase the relative autonomy of European energy policy. However, the emergency that underlies the launch of REPowerEU makes a considered analysis of this difficult. Thus, the article provides a historical overview of the context in which this plan is to be deployed. The conclusion reached is ambivalent.
